FAQ

Common questions

How many free analyses do I get?
Every new account gets 5 free CV analyses — no credit card needed to sign up. Results are saved for 30 days, so re-uploading the same CV within that window doesn't use a credit. We'll give you notice before any paid plans are introduced.
What happens to my CV?
Your CV is processed in memory and discarded immediately after matching. We extract your duties and experience to compare against ANZSCO descriptions — we don't store, share, or train on your file.
Is this tool accurate?
In our acceptance tests, the correct code appeared in the top 5 results for 100% of structured test profiles and around 80% of real-world CVs across trades, health, ICT, and social roles. Accuracy is higher for well-formatted CVs — the tool shows a readability score so you can see how much signal it had to work with. It's guidance; verify with a migration agent before lodging.
Can I use this to lodge a visa?
No — guidance only. For AU applications, verify your code against the Home Affairs Skilled Occupation List and lodge through ImmiAccount (or via a Registered Migration Agent). For NZ, check against the Green List or relevant sector agreement and use Immigration New Zealand's portal.
What if my occupation isn't in ANZSCO?
ANZSCO covers most skilled roles, but some niche or hybrid jobs don't map cleanly to a single code. If no strong match is found, we return the closest codes with low confidence scores — that's your signal to dig deeper with a migration agent, who can advise on alternative pathways or employer-sponsored options.
What's the difference between ANZSCO 2022 and v1.3?
ANZSCO 2022 is required for Subclass 482 and 186 (employer-sponsored). The points-tested stream — 189, 190, 491, 485, and 494 — still uses v1.3. Most codes appear in both editions with the same number, but some were restructured. Cross-reference your result against the occupation list for your target visa on the Home Affairs website (AU) or Immigration NZ (NZ).
